In Bali’s highland region of Kintamani, Arabica coffee is cultivated between 1,100–1,400 meters in fertile volcanic soil. Traditionally, Balinese farmers use a washed (wet) process, carefully fermenting and washing the beans before drying them under the tropical sun. This method produces a clean and balanced cup, often with bright citrus notes, gentle floral tones, coconut and a medium body, round mouthfeel. Bali washed coffees are recognized for their smooth sweetness, clarity, and refreshing finish, a classic expression of the island’s terroir and traditional farming practices.
